I stopped keeping this site up-to-date many years ago, so if you've ended up here I'm afraid there's nothing much of interest to see any more.

Even older than the original Yeltzland website, we wrote a HTFC fanzine between 1991 and 1994.

I've started scanning in the originals, and you can download the PDFs from the FYI home page.

Review of the 1995-96 season

Re-live one of the greatest seasons of the mighty Yeltz's long history in DJ's comprehensive review

Why are we called The Yeltz?

No one knows for sure, but here's an summary from the excellent Yeltzmen book that's the best explanation we have!

News Story

Yeltz 2 Hastings 1

Once again we left it late to clinch the points - coming from behind to beat Hastings 2-1 with a Steve Piearce goal and an 88th minute poke-in from Ada Cooper at a fog-bound Grove. We had loads of chances, but their keeper made some excellent saves.

News Story

Rothwell 1 Yeltz 1

Another away draw at Rothwell 1-1. We can say we're definitely better at home than away this season! Our league record so far is now:

We're still in 3rd place. Merthyr finally let a goal in but they beat Crawley 2-1 and are now 9 points above us with a game in hand.

News Story

Yeltz 2 Dorchester 1

The Yeltz march up the table (we're now 3rd) continues with a 2-1 win over Dorchester. Evran got the first just after half-time, and we we're looking in command until Dorchester got a shock equalizer in the 87th minute. However Snapper saved the day by poking in the winner in injury time. Phew!

News Story

BSC Yeltz 0 Villa 0

0-0 against Villa in the B'ham Senior Cup. Wow.

News Story

FAT Yeltz 1 Burton 2

A disappointing 2-1 loss to fellow DML Premier team Burton means another year will go by without The Yeltz playing at our second-home Wembley. Evran got our goal.

News Story

Yeltz 4 Salisbury 1

A hat-trick from Evran Wright helps The Yeltz beat Salisbury 4-1 at The Grove. We're now 5th, our highest position for a couple of months.

News Story

Tamworth 0 Yeltz 2

We finally break our duck away form home with a 2-0 AWAY victory against Tamworth. The goals were from Luke Yates and new bloke Ian Reed.

News Story

Yeltz 1 Burton 1

A first league draw at home: 1-1 against Burton with our scorer Mr Own Goal. We're stuck in 10th.

News Story

Yeltz 3 Forest Green 0

Another good HOME performance - a 3-0 win against Forest Green. The goals came from Piearce and a couple from Evran in a brilliant display of attacking football.

News Story

Gloucester 1 Yeltz 0

At least it wasn't 0-0. Another poor away result - a 1-0 defeat vs. Gloucester. Not much to say really, except our abysmal away record is now:
